Hi hi hi!
I am beyond excited about this post because I can finally say that I can cook. I know some people out there try to act like they suck at cooking but then whip up these insane meals with things you didn’t even know existed and have intricate designs on the plate. To those people, I envy you. I wish I could do stuff like that, but honestly, I’ll even burn toast half the time. Yes, toast. Sad, but true.
Anyway, I was looking into the different sites that mail you all the ingredients and the recipes so making a delish meal is basically fool proof. And I stumbled upon HomeChef and lemme tell ya, I fell in love.
By the way, this post is in no way sponsored, I really am just that excited that HomeChef has made me look legit in the kitchen.
HomeChef lets you pick your own menu, whether you want an omnivore, meat & seafood, meat, pescatarian, or vegetarian menu, how many servings you want, and how many meals you want each week. It’s amazing and insanely affordable. For $10 a meal and getting everything I need to make enough for 2 people, is a definite winner.
I chose to get 4 meals for 2 people and the meat menu. I was a little worried that the portions wouldn’t be big enough for my bottomless pit boyfriend, but surprise surprise, he was actually full after eating what I made! *insert clapping emoji here*
I love that the meals all come with simple directions to follow, everything is ready to go, and it’s all fresh and tastes to dieeeeeee. I made a BBQ Pork Tenderloin w/ sautéed apples, onions, & green beans. Lots of flavors and it actually had a little spice to it!
Never did I think I could whip up a meal like this all on my own & have it actually come out edible. But I did. Yay for HomeChef!
Anyone else a little impaired when it comes to cooking in the kitchen? TELL so I know I’m not alone! Ha
Off to eat!
