Good morning and happy Sunday, lovers!
It’s Halloween weekend and I’m wondering if I’m the only person in the world who didn’t dress up or do anything Halloween-ish..
Hopefully I’m not the only boring person.
I did however, decorate my bar cart and fully stocked it with candy (that I have been eating way too much of lately, btw), and did it all under $50, so naturally, I’m sharing my little “how to” with you. Because the blog is geared towards babes on a budget.
I’ve put together a little video and I’m listing out some spooky and affordable “Candy Cart” must haves below:
Ok, first up:
Duh. Now, this is where you have to get crafty, because candy is literally insanely overpriced a lot of the time. I went to Target and found some variety packs and a couple random pieces hiding in one of the aisles- those caramel candy apple lollipops were only $1 each. Also, you don’t need to buy the jumbo packs- buy smaller bags and just kind of split everything up. I got the Dum Dums and Smarties for only $5.
Now, candles are also a must for a candy cart. Totally sets the tone and the mood and at night, makes everything a little more dramatic. I love buying a bunch of tea lights and a couple bundle packs of regular candles.
