Manifest Your Dream Life by The Lifestyle Daily

Daydreaming. Something I’ve always been extremely good at, but haven’t done in so long. I mean, obviously I’ve allowed my mind to wander, but I haven’t actually legit taken a full 15-30 minutes to realllllllly daydream about things I want in my life.

I’ve recently started meditating so I can clear my head, focus, and allow good energy to flow through my head again. And I have to say, I am loving the energy and clarity I instantly get. Now, I’ve only been doing it for 2 days, but I have felt such an insane difference in my mood and my thoughts. I haven’t had this much energy in weeks.

It’s a habit I’m keeping.

After I meditate, I write in my grateful journal, recite affirmations and visualize. I imagine the life I want, and focus on manifesting good things.

I bought “Unleash Your Inner Money Babe” 2 months ago and I’m obsessed. If ya haven’t heard of it, here’s a mini breakdown: Kathrin Zenkina gives you a daily exercise so you can manifest “x” amount of dollars in 21 days. The book focuses on $1,000 but you can swap out the number to whatever you want. Currently, my number is $5,000 (I have a web design company with my friend/biz partner, so I’m manifesting new clients to get me the $5,000).

Today’s exercise was all about visualizing.
I closed my eyes and pictured where I am when I receive the money. What smells are around me, my mood, what I’m wearing, what I do with the money, etc.

When I was finished, it got me thinking about how often I used to daydream (because essentially, visualizing is like daydreaming). One of the things Kathrin expresses before the exercise is that as we get older, the art of daydreaming is lost. We’re told as kids to stop allowing our minds to wander and to focus. To stop staring out the window dreaming of magical places or what it would be like to be someone else for a day. The days of daydreaming and being creative and having an active imagination just kind of dwindle.

During the exercise, I sat in silence just picturing what music I’m hearing in the streets of Charleston on a weekend getaway as Arthur and I celebrate my new clients. I feel stress-free and calm as I pay off my past due bills/credit cards. I’m drinking a delicious & spicy Bloody Mary and binge eating homemade chips and salsa. I’m walking through the colorful streets of the city taking 7239823 photos…

I was inspired to write this post and hopefully remind each of you, how much fun it is to daydream. It’s also insanely important if you want to manifest certain things into your life.

“Never let it be said that to dream is a waste of one’s time. For dreams are our realities in waiting. In dreams, we plant the seeds of our future”

Imagining what you want is something that everyone does, but getting it to come to fruition, depends on the feelings you have as you imagine. Seeing something you want is easy. But if you really allow yourself to feel the joy, excitement, surprise.. That’s when visualizing works. Allow yourself to smile, cry, jump up and down as you picture winning that award, getting the promotion you want, landing your dream client, moving into your dream house, traveling first-class to an exotic destination..

According to this source:

“Mental imagery—the kind that involves imagining success—has long been employed by professional athletes to boost their strength, confidence, and results. (Arnold Schwarzenegger imagined his biceps to be mountain peaks as he pumped iron.) But the technique is good for more than just sports. “Everyone can use imagery to prepare for all kinds of situations, including public presentations and difficult interactions,” says Daniel Kadish, Ph.D., a psychologist in New York City who guides clients in mental imagery. Research has shown that surgeons, musicians, and business executives have used it to focus and to improve their performance. It could also help you run a 5K, ace a presentation, or even pass up the morning doughnut box.”

Another way to look at this is to think of the Law of Attraction. One of my favorite books, The Secret, says “The law of attraction is forming your entire life experience and it is doing that through your thoughts. When you are visualizing, you are emitting a powerful frequency out into the Universe.”

Focus on the good outcomes you want in life, and NOT the bad or negative from your current situation. Change your mindset and make sure you spin every negative into a positive. Thinking about the bad or shitty things going on is only going to attract more shitty or negative.

I haven’ had any income coming in for 3 months and It’s because I’m constantly saying “I’m so broke, I can’t pay my bills, I’m going to lose everything.. ” So going forward, I’m changing my language. Instead, I’m saying “I can’t believe I’m debt-free, omg everything is so affordable, I have so much money in my bank accounts, that I don’t have to stress anymore”.. etc.

Change your mindset, change your life.

Today I challenge you to take 10 minutes and really let your mind wander! The important thing to remember is that you don’t need to focus on HOW your daydream is going to become a reality. You just need to focus on the details and think about what you want often. Don’t forget to really feel the emotions as if your dream or vision is already happening.

Thoughts on manifesting??

I’m off to read! Currently re-reading Big Magic! Totally recommend if you haven’t read it already.
