Another start to a hopefully very productive week.
How was everyone’s weekend?? If you did anything fun, SPILL! Saturday was Arthur’s birthday and we just hung around the house and relaxed, Sunday was of course football Sunday Funday, so an afternoon of Bloody Mary’s and yelling at the tv took place.
Needless to say, I’m in much need of a wind down and reset kind of night. We just finished Stranger Things & The Night Of and have been binge watching The Shield lately. So good. If you haven’t watched it yet, you need to.
We usually lounge in bed with the two dogs, watching the show, and casually sip on green tea with my latest drink addition, Natural Calm: The Anti Stress Drink. It’s a Magnesium supplement that literally calms and mellows you out. It’s also, vegan, organic, gluten free, and has no GMOs.
I basically need that 24/7.
I often struggle with anxiety and have moments where I feel like I’m about to go insane, and this helps me a ton! Magnesium is amazing for sleep and keeping everything “regular”, so if I don’t drink this, I’ll usually take a magnesium pill before bed.
Btw, this isn’t sponsored, I really do drink this on the reg.
Last night Arthur asked me when I was making his tea with the “healthy powder stuff”. Adorable.
Benefits stated here:
“Magnesium and calcium are fundamental nutrients that need to be in balance with each other in order for you to fully experience good health. Their importance on a cellular level is critical. Calcium and magnesium are like opposite sides of a coin. Calcium excites nerves, while magnesium calms them down. Calcium makes muscles contract. Magnesium is necessary for muscles to relax. Calcium is needed for blood clotting, but magnesium keeps the blood flowing freely.”
Magnesium also helps with the following:
+ Increases Energy
+ Calms nerves & anxiety
+ Helps with digestion
+ Relieves muscle aches & spasms
+ Important for heart health
+ Prevents migraines
+ Prevents osteoporosis
So obviously this stuff is extremely good for you and it tastes delish. I buy the Rasberry-Lemon flavor I mix it in with lemonade during the day, iced or hot Green tea, or you can just drink it by itself and add in some extra lemon and strawberries. They also have plain lemon if that’s your flavor go-to, too.
