Who doesn’t love a little glow on their skin??
If you don’t, you can skip this post, because I’m about to dish on my favorite moisturizer– and it 100% gives your skin a little boost and that “Oh-I-Just-Had-A-$300-Facial” feel.
But it’s only $39 and (I swear) a dab of this is all you need. Seriously- all I do is tap my finger in the jar and what gets on my finger is enough for my face (I dab 4 times- cheeks, forehead, and chin), and I’m good to go. So this little jar of goodness will last forever.
At my last dermaplane and facial appointment, my Aesthetician told me that my skin was insanely dry. Which I had no clue about because to me, it didn’t feel or look dry, but as she was scraping all the dead skin off my face she told me it was. I guess I was skimping on the moisturizer everyday.. whoops
That night when I got home, I got on my computer and did a little shopping and next thing I knew I had this moisturizer in my cart. Along with my fave lip stuff and a facial cleanser.
I was pretty damn impressed the moment I used it. It’s got that cream-like texture, but it’s silky and lightweight so it goes on your skin insanely smoothly and my skin just kinda drinks it right up. Oh, and it also helps with fine lines and wrinkles,
So in love.
I actually asked my Aesthetician what she thought of my skin lately and she said I have def improved on the hydration front. #Winning

Lots of good stuff packed into this little jar.
Here’s why a good moisturizer is so important:
+ A suitable moisturizer can help prevent and treat dry skin.
+ It can protect sensitive skin, improve skin tone and texture, and mask imperfections.
+ As moisturizers hold water in the outermost layer of skin, they also act as a temporary barrier for your skin.
+ It also protects the outer layer of the skin from harmful effects of the sun, wind and other environmental factors. (and, as mentioned above, this one contains grape and apple to really protect against pollutants)
How to apply:
+ Apply moisturizers immediately after cleansing and drying your skin. Since the skin is still damp, the moisturizer will penetrate into the skin better.
* Note- if you take too long to apply your moisturizer,
the moisture from your skin can evaporate taking your skin’s natural moisture with it.
+ You can even apply it as a protective base for make-up.
A light consistency moisturizer holds the make-up for a longer period.

Basically, if you don’t want dry, crusty, crepe-looking skin, ya need to be moisturizing. And drinking at least 64oz of h2o every.single.day.
Alright, I’m off to watch Grey’s Anatomy (just started season 5), drink some coffee, and relaxxxxx.
