I’ve been wanting to update my office for a while and have been Pinteresting office decor like crazy lately.
Being a Gemini (can I use this as an excuse??), I am insanely indecisive, always change my mind about what I want, but have a clear vision of the end result, so it’s always a struggle to decorate any room in my house.
I don’t even know if my statement above makes sense.
But, lucky for me, my birthday was a few weeks ago, and I got some fun money, so of course I’m spending it on decor. Arthur was quite shocked I wasn’t spending it all on clothes.
I found so many cute and cheap pieces that of course I have to share my haul with you! Seriously, everything is under $30.
The vibe I’m wanting is very boho-beachy chic, so I tried to stick with neutral tones, but add in pops of color because… color=happy.
K, here we go!
Boho-Beachy Chic Office Finds
Flamingo Acrylic Tray: Ok, so I’m most excited about this because I have legit been searching for a fun acrylic tray for months and refuse to pay $50 for one. This one had an “almost gone” sticker next to it on the website and was only $20! Like, the universe clearly liked me today. If you love it, snag it up asap.
Shadow Box Frame: I am always printing photos I take ( I use the FreePrints app), and just printed a ton of fun beachy pics I took when we were in Cali, so this perfect for displaying all my palm tree and beach shots.
Area Rug: MAJOR MAJOR steal. First of all, it’s a 2×3 area rug, so I bought 2 so I could make it big enough to under my desk, and it was only $10 PER rug. I swear I thought it was a typo when I first saw it. They have a ton of other prints and colors for the same price too.
Pineapple Candle: I probably won’t actually burn this candle and use it more for decorative purposes on my desk. The pineapple print is fun and it’ll still scent up the room even unlit.
Candles: 1.- This is an LED candle, so it’ll create fun vibe at night when I blogging late night. 2. Himalayan Salt Candle Cubes- great for cleaning negative ions out of the air caused my computer monitors, tv’s, microwaves, vacuums, etc. Definitely a desk must have. 3. Pineapple candle: I actually bought the one in white and am obsessed!
“Good Stuff Inside” Container: I have little clear tea light holders currently holding paper clips, but this is so much cuter (and I honestly thought it would make a fun blog prop).
Faux Greenery: I bought 2 of these (one for each bookshelf), because greenery, even fake, brightens up the room and just puts good vibes in the air.
Cactus Wall Art: These are kinda quirky and vintage-ish and my walls could use a little update. And they really fit the whole boho-beachy chic vibe I was going for.
Dry Erase Board: I have seriously been sucking lately when it comes to my content calendar, but now that my office will be a space I want to be in, I def need a reminder of what posts I need to write/things I need to do for the week. Hello, organization!
Palm Leaf Box: My grandparents stole a piece of coral from the ocean back in the 70s or 80s and when my grandpa passed away last year, that was one of the things I got from his house. This box is perfect for keeping it safe and on display.
Succulent: I just love the pink pot this is in. I may take the succulent out and replace it when a white faux flower. Like a peony or a few daisies.
Flamingo Vase: This just screams chic, right?? They also have one in pink!
Obviously my little space is a work in progress, but I’m crazy excited to put all this together and decorate.
Any other pieces you think I need to add?? I’ll do a blog post on my actual office once it’s all put together!
